Updated: July 2009 The terms and conditions below explain how we work, regarding orders, returns, exchanges, refunds and payments. Please read these. Don't say we didn't tell you! If you place an order with us, at Greek Foods Direct, you are acknowledging your acceptance of the terms and conditions listed below. Please read the following terms and conditions before placing an order with us, at Greek Foods Direct. General Although you may place an order with us at any time we only work, packing & shipping, Monday to Friday, excluding Greek Bank Holidays. Any orders that you place over the weekend or during Bank Holidays, will be attended to on our next working day. If any products, that you have ordered, are no longer available or have been discontinued we will refund you immediately via your PayPal account and inform you via email. Greek Foods Direct may change the Terms & Conditions at anytime. Therefore you should check this page each time you order. Delivery Greek Foods Direct uses the Greek national postal service for all packages. Shipping charges are calculated based on the total weight of all the items in your order. Our postage quotes include all packaging, plus the weights of the items to be shipped. Greek Foods Direct accepts no responsibility and will offer no refund should any orders be delayed or damaged due to fire, war, industrial action, flood or other acts of God. Restriction of Goods: When you place your order please know that for certain items you must accept the responsibility of being, both, over the legal age in order to purchase the goods, and also be sure that the goods are not prohibited in your country of residence. Customs within your country may otherwise confiscate your entire order. Returns Greek Foods Direct aims to satisfy your product needs, to make sure that you can shop online securely and easily and offer you an excellent after service too. Should you be disatisfied by any products received, we ask that you contact us as soon as you receive your order. We expect you to check your goods and report any problems within 24 hours of you receiving your order. If no problems have been reported after 24 hours we shall conclude your satisfaction with the goods. You, as the customer, are responsible for the cost of returning goods. A refund will be given once the order has been returned and checked by us. We will need proof of postage showing that you returned the items within 48 hours of the initial delivery. Exceptions will be made if this period falls over a weekend or a Bank Holiday. All items will be in excellent condition when they leave us here at Greek Foods Direct. We can not be held responsible for damage to certain goods during transit. For example, should dried goods such as crisps be broken, or should chocolate melt due to hot weather conditions. Your statutory rights are in no way affected by these Terms & Conditions. Cancellations You may cancel any order, that you place, within 12 hours of your order being confirmed at no cost. Any orders needing to be cancelled after that time may incur a charge to cover any services that we have provided up to that point. For example, for any items already purchased for your order. This amount will be deducted from your refund. Payment All prices are stated in and payable in Euros. Our secure online Payment Provider is PayPal. In order to use PayPal you must agree to the Terms & Conditions posted on their website.
