Who are we at Greek Foods Direct?
We are a family run business who know, firsthand, how hard it is to buy the products you have been using for years when you move abroad.
We bring you this online store, which offers you brand named goods that you would be able to buy anywhere in Greece.
We hope to provide you with great quality Greek goods and great service wherever you live in the world.
How can I shop from your website?
We have tried to make this website as easy to use as possible.
On the left hand side of the page all our products are listed in 'Our Products' , e.g. Dried Goods.
To view a product within a department just click on it.To order a product, click 'Add’ and it will be added to your basket. If you wish to order more than 1 this can be updated at the checkout stage.
We have also provided a Search facility located above the departments list. To use the search option type the item you are looking for, e.g. coffee, into the search box and click on search. The site will then show you the products that contain the word coffee, either in the title or description.
Once you have finished your shopping, click on the 'Shopping Basket' button to proceed to the check out.
How do I pay for the items I have chosen?
To buy items from our site you must register with us.
Simply click on the ‘sign up‘ or ‘log in’ button and enter your account details.
We have chosen to only use PayPal as our secure payment provider.
Paypal enables you to keep your credit card details safe and secure.
We will not have access to your credit card details, We will never ask for your credit card details. Paypal will pay us the amount needed for the purchase of your goods, and you will pay PayPal.
In order to pay for your items you click on the PayPal link, at the bottom of the shopping basket page and follow the instructions on the PayPal page.
You will receive an email from PayPal confirming your payment and an email from us detailing your purchases. Once payment is received we will pack and ship your order within 2 working days.
What contact details do I need to give you?
We require your full shipping address, along with an invoice address, should it be different. Furthermore we would like you to provide us with a valid telephone & mobile number so we may contact you, if necessary. Please make sure you provide an email address that you check regularly so that we may keep you informed of the progress of your order.
How quickly will my order be dispatched?
Our aim is to ship your order within 48 hours. If there is likely to be a delay we will inform you immediately through email.
During busy periods such as Easter and Christmas it may take slightly longer to expedite your order.
What happens if an item I have ordered is unavailable?
On occasion, a branded item may not be available. In this situation we will substitute the item for an alternative brand of either the same or higher quality. You will not be charged extra for any items that are more expensive, however, a refund will be made for the difference in price on any items that are cheaper than those ordered.
My Country isn't on the list. Will you still ship to me?
Yes, of course! Please contact us and we will let you know the shipping costs to your country.
